You use salt at home
- Against wine stains
Prepare a mixture in the proportions of 250 grams of salt for each tablespoon of lemon juice. Spread the mixture on the stain and leave on for 20 minutes. After the time has elapsed, rinse with water then wash the garment as usual. For delicate or white items, replace the vinegar with lemon.
- Natural dehumidifier for rooms

- Whitener for stubborn stains on linen or cotton fabrics
With salt we can make an excellent whitener for fabrics; just prepare a mixture in the proportions of 500 ml of mineral water, a glass of vinegar, 2 tablespoons of salt and a teaspoon of bicarbonate. After mixing all the ingredients, immerse the garment in this solution and let it soak for about 1 hour. After the set time, wash the garment normally in the washing machine or by hand with a preferably natural detergent.
- To revive fabrics
To revive the linen or cotton garments, immerse them in a basin considering that for every liter of water you will need to add 1 teaspoon of coarse salt. Leave to soak overnight, then wash as usual.
- Against bad odors in shoes
Salt also helps us to perfume our shoes; just mix two parts of baking soda and one of salt and put this solution in your shoes: let it rest for a whole night.
- Against sweat stains
To eliminate the yellow sweat stains, just immerse the fabric in a basin with hot water, 2 tablespoons of coarse salt and vinegar and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Once this is done, wash your garment as usual.

To eliminate bad smells from sponges, just immerse them in a bowl with cold water and coarse salt. Do the same for unpleasant odors in the refrigerator: dilute a teaspoon of salt up to half a liter of water and spray the liquid obtained to clean the shelves and the internal door of the refrigerator.
