Heat reflective panels, savings on the bill

The radiators in the house certainly heat up but involve a considerable expense on the bill! One way to reduce the expensive bill is to eliminate heat loss by using panels heat reflective to be placed behind the radiators.
It is a simple, fast and cheap method, but let's see in detail the features and advantages of heat reflective panels.

Heat reflective panels, features
When the house is not adequately insulated, some of the heat from the heating is lost, especially if the radiators have been installed close to the external walls. To overcome the problem we can resort to panels heat reflective. They consist of an internal structure in expanded polyethylene, a material that turns out to be insulating, heat-resistant, fireproof and even non-toxic, and an external structure consisting of an aluminum sheet that acts as a thermal reflector.

Heat reflective panels, advantages
THE panels thermoreflective they must be placed in the wall behind the radiators. Their use allows an improvement in efficiency of about 10%, limiting dispersion and increasing the heat inside the rooms, with consequent savings on the bill. The rooms will heat up faster and once the temperature is reached, the heat inside the room will last longer, thus limiting further consumption!

Heat reflective panels, the installation
THE heat reflective panels they are sold directly in rolls, with a cost of around 7 - 9 euros per square meter, they can be cut in batches, using a cutter or a pair of sturdy scissors. To fix it to the wall, you can use a rather strong double-sided tape, or liquid water glue, alternatively it can be fixed with wall nails.
Another way to install i heat reflective panels, is the use of a transparent nylon thread, to be inserted at the edge of the surface of the panel, to then attach it to the radiator support brackets, not forgetting to turn the silver aluminum part towards the inside of the room.
From an aesthetic point of view, the room is not affected, since the panels are hidden by the radiators: in this case it is important that the panel is not larger than the radiator.
