Jam tart, easy recipe

Jam tart, the ingredients

  • 150 grams of brown sugar
  • 300 grams of flour 00
  • 2 whole eggs + 1 yolk
  • The zest of ½ lemon
  • A tablespoon of rapeseed oil
  • Half a teaspoon of vanilla baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 grams of jam

Jam tart, the preparation

  1. Pour the flour onto a work surface then add the sugar, the whole egg, the yolk, the vanilla yeast and the oil
  2. Mix everything then add the grated lemon zest and salt
  3. Knead quickly and for a very short time, until a consistent dough is formed
  4. Place the dough in a large bowl and let it rest for 1 hour in a cool and dry place
  5. After the time has elapsed, roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it forms a sheet of about ½ centimeter: let some pastry forward and set aside
  6. Place the pastry on a greased baking sheet
  7. Fill the tart with the jam of your favorite flavor
  8. Take the leftover pastry, cut a series of strips then weave them over the jam as decoration
  9. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees
