From this it is clear that a low value of transmittance corresponds to little heat transmitted, therefore a window is all the more efficient the lower its transmittance value is.
It is also important that the windows to be replaced delimit the heated volume and therefore face the external environment or unheated rooms. Therefore, there is no right to the 65% deduction for windows present in rooms without a heating system, such as basements or condominium stairwells.
