How to build a bamboo bike

Thanks to the Bamboo Bike Project group, interested users can produce their ownbamboo bicycle following a two day workshop. ThereBamboo Bike Projectis a British company that offers do-it-yourself construction ofbamboo bicycles. ThereBamboo Bike Projectorganizes seminars on weekends with workshops open to all, experts and non-experts: for build one diy bamboo bikeit is not necessary to know how to weld or have mechanical skills, the parts are held together by hemp strips which have proved to be equally resistant.


Thanks to this course it will be possible to create acustom made bamboo frame. The cost to take part in the weekend seminar amounts to 495 pounds while those who prefer can have the entire assembly kit delivered to their home for the price of 320 pounds. The kit includes a detailed user manual.
